Mackenzie Phillips was awarded Darkness2Light’s 2009 Voice of Courage award for her honesty in telling the story of her own childhood sexual abuse at the hands of her father, John Phillips of the Mamas and the Papas. This is her acceptance speech at our 2009 Circle of Light Gala.
