This past spring, Aerie launched an exclusive collection featuring words of wisdom from their #AerieREAL Role Models on a variety of pieces, with 100% of sales of each item benefiting causes close to their role models’ hearts.
In partnership with #AerieREAL Role Model Aly Raisman, Aerie produced the “survivor” swimsuit benefiting Darkness to Light and to empower all survivors to speak their truth and show solidarity with their stories. The swimsuit has the word “survivor” emblazoned across the chest. Aly, a US Champion Gymnast and outspoken advocate for change, wants survivors to know it’s “OK to not be OK” and encourages people to ask for help if they’re struggling.
Proceeds from the sale of the “survivor” swimsuit will help Darkness to Light’s mission to train adults to prevent, recognize, and react responsibly to child sexual abuse.
