Stephen Mills is the author of Chosen: A Memoir of Stolen Boyhood, which won the National Jewish Book Award for Memoir. Since 1982 he has advised and written for an array of public interest organizations in the fields of human rights and environmental protection.
As a survivor of childhood sexual assault who has been pursuing justice for five decades, Stephen speaks frequently to local communities about the importance of prevention, normalizing the conversation around the victimization of boys, and holding institutions accountable when they fail to protect children.
