In a first-of-its-kind partnership aimed at strengthening child protection across the country, Lamb Insurance is making the globally recognized training, Stewards of Children® by Darkness to Light, available to its over 4,000 U.S.-based clients.
This unique collaboration marks a bold step toward making prevention education more accessible for nonprofit, human service, and faith-based organizations—core sectors served by Lamb Insurance. Stewards of Children® is Darkness to Light’s flagship training, designed to empower adults to prevent, recognize, and react responsibly to child sexual abuse.
Child sexual abuse is a silent, but widespread public health crisis. One in 10 children will be sexually abused before their 18th birthday, and more than 60% of victims never disclose their abuse. Often, the abuse occurs in youth-serving settings—sports, schools, camps, and faith-based organizations—where safe adult intervention could make all the difference.
