Trident Academy and surrounding communities come together for Prevention

Categories: Misc, Other

The last few weeks for the town of Mount Pleasant have been ones of shock and fear as the actions of Louis “Skip” ReVille have come to light. Town members have been scrambling to find the right way to talk to their children about child sexual abuse and are in need of reassurance that the are exercising the right prevention techniques. To help out with this and to show that being proactive is the best way to end child sexual abuse, Trident Academy is offering our prevention training at their school for teachers, parents, and members of the surrounding communities.

Once word of the training was heard by Raising Cane’s, they immediately offered to provide food and beverages for the event! Raising Cane’s has delicious chicken fingers and we are inspired by their generosity. The training will take place on November 15th from 5:30-8:00pm. If interested please contact Trident Academy at 843-284-0116 or RSVP@TridentAcademy.com.

This is what prevention is all about! A community coming together and stepping up to learn more about the practices they can put into place to lower the incidence of child sexual abuse. Way to go Trident, Raising Cane’s, and everyone else who is doing their part to join the movement!!
