Mary Ratliff Beattie

Roseburg, Oregon

Mary is the Protect Our Children Program Coordinator, contracted by The Ford Family Foundation. The Ford Family Foundation provides funding across Oregon and in Siskiyou County, Calif., for Protect Our Children, a Foundation program to prevent child sexual abuse. Mary brings over ten years’ experience in the human services field, focusing on child abuse prevention and intervention strategies and child advocacy.

As a graduate of the Ford Leadership Institute and a Ford ReStart Scholar, Mary feels quite connected to, and passionate about all of the work of the Ford Family Foundation. Mary received a Master’s in Public Administration and a Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management from the University of Oregon (UO). Her bachelor’s degree, also from the UO, is in Family and Human Services.

Mary is an active participant in community-building activities and has served on boards of directors for local nonprofits serving a rural community. She now serves on the Executive Committee for the Oregon Chapter of Prevent Child Abuse America.
