Denice Colson, PhD, LPC, MAC, CPCS

Denice Colson earned an M.S. in Community Counseling in 1985, and a PhD in Christian Counseling and Spiritual Direction in 2013. She entered the counseling field in 1982, and has been passionate about trauma recovery since 1992. She maintains licensure as a Professional Counselor, Master Addiction Counselor, Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor, and Certified Clinical (addiction) Supervisor.

She is founder of Trauma Education & Consultation Services and co-founder of Eagle’s Landing Christian Counseling Center, Inc, with offices in McDonough and Conyers, Georgia. She is an author and recently published her second book and workbook, “Break Every Stinking Chain! Healing for Hidden Wounds” available on Amazon.com.

She’s a speaker/trainer, a working mother of 3 teenage and young adult girls, and a trauma survivor. She offers counseling, supervision, consulting, and training.
