In 2006, the Georgia Center for Child Advocacy launched a campaign to significantly address the epidemic of child sexual abuse by adding the Stewards of Children curriculum to its traditional response services. The ultimate vision is to bring prevention to every county and city in Georgia so that all adults have the opportunity to learn how to protect the children in their care. Specifically, the goal is to provide this important training to one million Georgia adults by 2020, focused on every organization or group of adults that serves children.
