Child Sexual Abuse Prevention Media Campaigns
|
Our media campaigns have been designed to illuminate the unfathomable prevalence and consequences of child abuse. The target audience is adults. Unlike other prevention campaigns, we believe that adults must be aware and held responsible to end child abuse. As part of the adult responsibility, we are committed to presenting this campaign in a responsible manner. If you would like more information about our media campaign please contact our Media Department at media@D2L.org or call (843) 965-5444.

Why Should I Care
Keep Their Future BrightDeveloped by media partner Young & Rubicam, “Keep Their Future Bright”, emphasizes the reality that child sexual abuse is most often perpetrated by someone the child and their family knows and trusts. Viewers are urged to go to the website to get the tools they need to keep children safe from sexual abuse.
ClassicsThese PSA's were among the first public service announcements created by D2L. "Too Many Children" exposes the unacceptable statistics that too many children are victims of sexual abuse. "Faces" displays the human side of the walking wounded, with testimonial by actual adult survivors of child sexual abuse. All of the talent were volunteers who courageously shared their experience in hope of helping others. We are very grateful for their willingness to be a part of making our community a safer place.
Shocking StatisticsOne in Six and Four Girls Jam present the shocking statistic that 1 in 6 boys and 1 in 4 girls will be abused before their 18th birthdays. The commercials encourage adults to do something about it by getting the 7 Steps to Protecting our Children. |
