Randy Ellison is using his voice to speak up for those who can’t and he is fired up about a recent sex abuse trial in Jackson County Oregon where a ten-year old child was forced to re-enact her abuse in court. Hard to believe, yes, and Randy was left questioning why some public opinion seems to be centered around the guilt or innocence of the defendant and his rights while a judge allows a child to be re-victimized in court. Randy, friend of D2L and board president of the Oregon Abuse Advocates and Survivors in Service, says it is imperative that we all speak out at every opportunity to begin to change how society looks at the issues surrounding abuse. It may take 3 generations to eliminate child sexual abuse, but the results will be worth it!
This is so heartbreaking, but sadly not surprising. I am praying for things to change in our justice system.
Randy, thank you for speaking up for these precious children. Every time these judges allow this sort of thing to happen they should be fired. Bill O’Reilly on FOX hates this sort of thing and exploits the judges whenever someone shares these reports with him.
